Liseli Kamona

Psychological Counsellor

Liseli obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Namibia in 2016. She started her counselling journey at Let’s Talk in 2017 where she put her skills to practice. Liseli dedicated her time to providing career guidance counselling and running support groups at her high school (Delta) in Windhoek. In addition, she identified the Dagbreek School of Special Needs as a community project and provided psychological assessments that aimed to explore the cognitive and emotional development of the learners.

Liseli has since grown in her therapeutic style and attended various training on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), ADHD, Addiction, Sexual Abuse and Gestalt Therapy. Her corporate experience has escalated across the years through providing detailed and informative presentations on Mental Health, Work-life Balance, Holistic Wellness and the Psychology of Money to institutions in Zambia.

Liseli is currently in the final stretch of completing her Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Zambia and is thrilled to be back in the Land of the Brave.

Her interests include corporate wellness, life balance, relationships and working with children to create a space for them to be themselves and unpack their internal challenges. Liseli understands the diversity and range within therapy and can accommodate a unique group of children. She is explorative in her play therapy and makes use of art, drama, music and relaxation techniques.

In her free time, Liseli enjoys gaming, vlogging and spending time with her friends and loved ones. She also enjoys a weekend of binge-watching Netflix, all snuggled up in a warm blanket with some good food.
