DO YOU CLAIM FROM MEDICAL AIDS?

Psychological services are covered by most of the Namibian Medical Aids. We claim directly from such funds at the Namaf rate. You are however encouraged to check with your Medical Aid to make sure you are covered.

WHAT IF I RUN OUT OF MEDICAL AID FUNDS?

We try our utmost to make sure that you have sufficient funds available before each session by verifying your available funds with the medical aid prior to your appointment. However, sometimes there might be a short payment when the claim is submitted. When this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements.

WHAT IS THE COST?

Fees vary depending on session type. Our fees are charged in accordance with the guidelines set by NAMAF. A once-off administration fee of N$ 100 is payable at your first appointment. PSEMAS members are expected to make a co-payment for each session. Please contact us for more information.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A MEDICAL AID?

We do accept cash or EFT payments at the time of service. You will be provided with an invoice and a receipt for the session. Please contact us to obtain the current private rates.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL FROM ANOTHER DOCTOR?

No, you do not need to be referred to make use of our services.

CANCELLATIONS OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS

To get the most benefit from therapy, it is important to attend regularly scheduled appointments. If you must change or cancel an appointment time that has been set aside for you, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can provide that time to another individual.

Except under certain extenuating circumstances, you will be charged the full hourly rate for an appointment that is not cancelled 24 hours in advance.
