Jouline Coetzee

Psychological Counsellor

I am a caring, optimistic, young Namibian lady, who was raised in Windhoek. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Honours) from the University of Namibia. After completing my Psychology internship, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work in private practice as a psychological counsellor. This was a significant milestone in my life. I then joined Let's Talk Psychologist in October 2023. I am passionate about assisting clients to heal from traumatic experiences, thus currently busy completing a micro-credential certificate in crisis and trauma intervention, so as to best help clients to reconnect with themselves and others.

In addition, volunteering at Child-line Lifeline for two years has deepened my interest in working with teenagers (13+) and young adults, as well as adults (age 50). As someone in the help profession, this has enabled me to assist clients in obtaining optimal well-being and successfully understanding their own cognitive, emotional and behavioural state.  It is my aim to provide a safe space for those who experience Depression, Anxiety, and Grief, as well as Self-esteem issues. My therapy styles include person-centred, couples counselling, supportive group counselling, mindfulness; and finally, connecting and healing the inner child, through applying a creative and interactive approach in the therapeutic environment.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, yoga, nature walks, traveling and experiencing different cultures; and spending some quality time with loved ones.
