Hello, I'm Jouline Coetzee

Psychological Counsellor

Jouline Coetzee is a Psychological Counsellor based in Windhoek. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Honours) from the University of Namibia and brings a compassionate, client-centred approach to her work.

Her professional training includes experience at Okonguarri, where she received hands-on training, facilitated group interventions, engaged in art-based therapeutic work, and supported multidisciplinary teams. She has also facilitated group sessions at schools in Windhoek, where she conducted personality assessments with learners, and completed her psychology internship at the Ministry of Labour.

In addition, Jouline completed a micro-credential certificate in crisis and trauma intervention, as well as gestalt therapy, so as to best help clients to reconnect with themselves and others.

Jouline has worked at Childline/Lifeline, where she provided emotional support to clients and assisted in the call centre. Her experience further extends to working across various private practices and offering psychosocial support to hospital patients, collaborating closely with medical professionals to support holistic care.

A lover of the arts at heart, Jouline trained in dance at the College of the Arts and continued engaging in creative art throughout her university years. She integrates this passion into the therapy space, using creative and expressive approaches to help clients connect with their inner child, process emotions, and deepen self-awareness. Her therapeutic style is warm, supportive, and grounded in person-centred principles, with a strong interest in group work, art-based interventions, and emotional healing.

Outside of the therapy room, Jouline enjoys spending time with friends, coffee dates, discovering good food, scenic drives, and unwinding with comedy and thriller films over the weekend.
